Been stitching leaves on 'Poppies and Iris' today. This is really anal work, have to take many breaks to give my eyes and hands a rest. Hats off to my Bernina for incredible even satin stitches even in it's old age. This quilt is going to take a long time to finish.

ReplyDeleteI would love to have people in to the studio for an art play date, I think that would be so much fun! I've had my mother come play on a few afternoons and we've always had the best time.
I've been incredibly lucky- my husband has been the greatest patron an artist could hope for. He's been endlessly patient and generous with me, which has allowed me to flourish in whatever direction that excited me. :D
I'm crazy for your blog, btw, it's in my daily lineup.
